Our Team

David Pharr – President/Founder/CEO
David founded Pharr Technologies in January 2001. He brings more than 20 years’ industry experience in Information Technologies and business development in both startup and $100+MM companies. Prior to the founding of Pharr Technologies, David served as the VP of Services for LearningStation.com an Application Service Provider. These programs focused on delivering web-based educational content and software to the K-12 market nationwide. Prior to that David served as Manager of Technical Operations and Senior Technology Consultant for Computer Network Power, Inc., where he lead the company’s growth from 1 to 30 employees, and $5 million in revenue in two years. David received his BS in Business Administration, majoring in both Marketing and Information Systems from Appalachian State University in 1991.

Randy Mach – VP, Sales
Randy is our Senior Systems Engineer. Randy has over 15 years’ experience in the Information Technology field, he has designed and implemented networks for small companies, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to his position at Pharr Technologies, Randy worked at Microsoft as a Networking Support Engineer and has taught Networking classes at The Chubb Institute in New York City.

Remzi Turer – VP, Operations

Remzi has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and has been working in the IT field since 1985

Rusty Earle – Director of Education and Government Services

Rusty leads our Education and Government Services operations. Rusty brings 30 years experience in the Information Technology field. He began his career as an electronics technician (Radar, UHF, VHF radio) in the U.S Coast Guard in 1990. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the USCG, Rusty worked as the North Carolina field engineer for National Medical Care. His responsibilities included the installation, configuration, performance of repairs and training of NMC dialysis units to 400+ patients. Rusty graduated from ECPI College of Technology in 2001 and started work for one of the largest system integrators companies in the K12 E-Rate arena immediately. There, he worked hand in hand with teachers and IT staff providing the latest solutions. Over the last 19 years, he has gained valuable insight into the day to day work-flow and their schools IT needs. Rusty has personally deployed thousands of computers, switches, routers, firewalls, servers, wireless access points, Audio/Video and interactive classroom solutions for hundreds of schools in NC and SC.
